Narrative text is a text used for the purpose of entertaining or amusing, creating, stimulating emotions, motivating and teaching or the listeners and it usually deals with or vicious experience.

PAST TENSE

The function of the simple tense are:

1. To express that an action started and finished at the specific time in the past.

2. To describe a habit which stopped in the past to make it clear.

3. To describe past or generalizations which are to longer true.

The adverbs that are usually used in the simple past tense sentences are :

PATTERNS (using verbs)

(+)          SUBJECT + V₂ + OBJECT + ADVERB OF TIME.

(-)           SUBJECT + DID + NOT + V₁ + OBJECT + ADVERB OF TIME.

(?)          DID + SUBJECT + V₂ + OBJECT + ADVERB OF TIME.

PRESENT TENSE

Present tense is simple form which used to express situation going into effect.

Simple present tense is used for : *kegunaan present tense*

§         Express habit, general truths, repeated actions or unchanging situation, emotions and whised.

§         Give instruction or direction.

§         To express arrangement.

GIVING INSTRUCTION
